Australia’s best kept secret.

Alex James

Thank goodness I attended Brian’s workshop. I immediately applied it to my shareholder agreement and funding strategy.  I consider myself very fortunate to benefit from knowledge and experience  Brian shares.

Aranka Nolan

My struggle is over. Now I can finally articulate why co-contributors should not get 50% or even 10% of my company.

Karthik Subramanyam

What separates Brian from other presenters I have seen, is that Brian totally understands the purpose of the audience and addresses some of the common mistakes Entrepreneurs make. He also brings in the right expertise / connections to provide value to his clients.

David Corthorn

Thanks for a fantastic workshop. It covered everything I needed to know and more. On to raise that $1.7 million!

Raymond Van Der Zalm

Thank you for the fantastic workshop – insightful, inclusive and high-impact. I can’t wait for the next workshop in the series.

Alex James

I attended the Pitching Workshop lead by Brian Dorricott of TiE Sydney since I wanted to learn how to present my proposition more efficiently. I learnt three key things: the speaker has the power; the investors perception; and that it is not easy! Using the techniques provided I am confident that I can assemble a pitch to any audience be it investors, customers, or just interested people in the future. I’m not sure when I'll ever be comfortable calling myself an entrepreneur, but these forums do embolden the tenacity needed for dreams to be realised!

It's remarkable to see what Brian and the team have done in the last 12 months to rejuvenate the TiE Sydney Chapter. The quality of events and related functions have been a great way for for me to grow my business, and also a great opportunity to connect with other likeminded entrepreneurs interested in learning more about Asia's thriving technology and innovation ecosystems

You give candid & realistic advice which whilst not particularly welcome by some at times, is necessary to say. You also have international start-up experience, particularly in Europe which is vital. At all times you have a client’s best interest foremost, not your interests/needs…. Bit of a rarity.

At a recent event about the innovation and ideas boom, Brian Dorricott was one of three speakers addressing local businesses about the Australian economy's transition in the new era of innovation and ideas. Brian spoke succinctly and with authority, and judging by the feedback we received, in a few well-chosen words identified the key issue at hand - 'Being innovative is up to us the business community. We must take responsibility for your own future and take steps to innovate and grow our economy ourselves - it's not up to someone else.'
